HELLO FOLKS! My name is Stanislaw and mine is Karolina - couple from Poland. We are 20 years old. We are after our first workaway experience ! Currently we are enjoying our gap year, before college, travelling all around the world, meeting new buddies, getting knowledge about other countries, culture and what is the most important we are trying to do new things unknownto us and we really love it!
Now few facts about us so You can get to know us better.
Our job was a barista at 24/7 coffee house at the airport Katowice and now we are working with renovating old furnitures. Working is familliar to us.
We are huuuuge animal lovers! Karolina owns a dog Wania, but we can say that she is also Stasiu`s dog. She means world to us. That's why we can't walk past any pet without being so excited.
Our life has always been about sports. Stasiu played tennis for 11 years and Karolina played volleyball for 8 years. Nowadays, our passion is hiking, mainly in polish mountains. Sometimes we even take Wania with us.
The thing which we can`t live without is travelling/backpacking. We travel all the time, every spontaneous idea is not just words, but something we know we will do. Our last trip was hitchhiking from Albania across the Balkan coast to our home in Poland, where we met such valuable and amazing people. Previously, Karolina spent one month solo backpacking in the Phillipines. We are always into meeting locals and foreigners , so we can learn about the lifestyle and share ours.
Finishing our description and not write a book haha. We would like to help you with everything you need help with. We are open minded and not afraid to do anything. We don`t mind sleeping in tent, shared room.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Here are some skills that we know:
- if we don`t know how to do sth we are learing very fast
- we know how to take care of animals and we are aware of the responsibility
- we speak fluently polish and english but also know basic of italian, russian and french
- we know how to work with people, for examle Karolina gives private math lessons to teens and kinds and Stasiu was a coach at tennis camp with youghsters
- we have skills of painting walls/fance, plastering, fixing some things, lately we were painting Karolina`s flat and assembling furniture and now we are even working with painting Windows and doors
- we are creative and we love DIY, making things cozy
- Stasiu is a cooking lover, he makes delicious meals (trust me)
- we did a little gardening at our houses with parents, but we want to learn more
- Karolina took a charity at her high school about Ukrainians (deliver food, help with school)
- she also lived a week in the village in Kazakhstan with her mum, and helped the family with running a farm (milking a cow, sheep walking, cleaning)
- we have a driving license, know how to drive a bike, quad
- Karolina did few surfing lessons and know how to scuba dive
- we really like to clean and we are curious about running a hostel

  Karolina is vegetarian, Stasiu eats whatever he gets
