Hi!
I am a city dweller who longs for the countryside. I've been in Vancouver for 20 years and now want to buy land and build a homestead, community or general space for people to visit, live and play on. I purchased a campervan in January and have been experimenting with vanlife to see what area of the country I want to call home next. I would love to experience country life, near hiking trails, rivers or lakes, mountains and generally all things nature. I want to build things, grow things, and work with my hands.
I like to think I'm on a spiritual journey, and embrace all things a little bit woo. I'd love to participate in moon ceremonies, meditate, but also more active things like dancing, yoga (acro?!), singing around a fire, and taking advantage of the nearby nature.
On my future land there will be a volleyball court, flow arts area, yoga studio, sauna, nature trails, parking spots for vanlifers or visitors, and a huge solar array. Possibly a tiny house or two. Warning: if you have these things already, I may never leave.
I'm not a huge cook or foodie, but I crave being in touch with the land, and will be grateful to help with building, farming, gardening or any sort of projects you may have.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I've been a photographer for ten years, which is why I need to step away from the computer, but I could happily build you a website or take pictures of anything.
I've done tile flooring, but otherwise don't have a lot of experience with, say, carpentry. But I learn quickly and am a bit of a perfectionist. I also studied engineering so I have good spacial awareness and understanding of materials and logistics.
I have baking skills, wood flooring and preserving (crabapples, pears and apples).
My main skill for this purpose is enthusiasm and joyful spirit.
