Hello from the UK,

I'm Sophie, a 25 year old happy go lucky zoology graduate with a passion for the outdoors, nature, wildlife and helping to make a difference, however great or small.

I embarked on two work-away projects in India last year, one in an off grid school, and one in an ecostay in Goa, helping build new lodges from clay and working as a waitress in the pizza restaurant on site.

Alongside these, I've been on conservation projects around the world, including Madagascar, Zimbabwe and Vietnam, so love exploring new cultures and meeting other people from all walks of life.

My skills include communications, marketing, all things sustainability and I also have a TEFL teaching qualification. I spent March-November 2019 teaching English in Vietnam so would love to help others improve their English skills where needed.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My job role in the UK at the moment is as an external communications officer for Bristol City Council. This involves a lot of writing, managing social media, and working with the NHS and Public Health England on a wide variety of campaigns.

As mentioned in my profile I'm also a TEFL qualified teacher with almost 2 years' teaching experience, and still teach online at the weekends sometimes.

I also have my own conservation blog (https://bornwildstaywild.wordpress.com/) and have a passion for sustainability and conservation.
