My name is Silvia and I come from a quaint small town in the Langhe region, in Northern Italy. I am energetic, positive and always looking for new opportunities to get to know other cultures.
I have a degree in foreign languages and literature, and I'm currently working as a primary school teacher, a role I absolutely love because it allows me to share my passion for learning and express my creativity.
In my free time I am a huge bookworm. You will most likely find me reading English literary classics (Frankenstein and Oliver Twist are my all-time faves ❤️), but I also appreciate a good non-fiction book. I love music and I have been taking singing lessons for about five years. Also, while I'm not the best at sports, I am really trying to push myself to go to the gym at least a few times a week 💪.
I love spending time in nature and last summer I had the chance to stay with an amazing Irish family for a few weeks, working outside and learning about polytunnel gardening. It was an unforgettable experience I would like to repeat soon!

I hold a degree in foreign languages and I can speak English, German and a bit of French and Russian. I have been working as a teacher for three years with both primary school kids and teenagers, a job that helped me develop skills like problem-solving, organization, empathy and leadership.
