Description
Hi, I'm Jia Min from Malaysia, though you can also call me Shiyo. I'm a veterinary medicine student in Taiwan, currently taking a gap year. I love exploring new cultures, experiencing different ways of life, and making friends from all over the world. One of my greatest joys is learning from others, and my travels have broadened my perspectives by allowing me to understand diverse ways of thinking.
My dream is to contribute to a better world as a veterinarian. This gap year has given me the chance to explore the world more deeply and grow both personally and professionally. I aspire to become more globally connected while enjoying the adventure of travel. I look forward to meeting every one of you along the way, and letting our stories inspire each other to keep moving forward!Centres d’intérêt

As a Malaysian, I have strong linguistic flexibility. My native language is Mandarin, and I am fluent in both English and Malay. Having studied in Taiwan and traveled to China, as well as having friends from both places, I am comfortable with different Chinese accents, including Taiwanese Mandarin, Malaysian and Singaporean Mandarin, and Mainland Chinese Mandarin—all of which I can understand and communicate in easily.I’ve also explored beginner-level German, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish. Although I’m not yet fluent, I’m excited to improve these skills and continue learning new languages! If you are interested in Chinese, Chinese and Asian Culture, I am happy to help!Compétences et connaissances que j'aimerais partager ou apprendre

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I cherish every moment spent with animals. As a veterinary medicine student, I have the skills to care for animals, primarily focusing on small animals. I can perform basic medical tasks such as drawing blood, administering injections, and giving medication.
I have a passion for both learning and teaching, and I’m currently exploring tutoring opportunities.
I also enjoy photography, whether capturing landscapes or portraits. While I typically use my phone or basic camera skills, I trust my sense of aesthetics and taste.
As a Malaysian, I have great linguistic flexibility. My native language is Mandarin, and I can communicate fluently in English and Malay. I’ve also dabbled in learning beginner-level German, Japanese, Korean, and Spanish. Though I’m not yet fluent, I look forward to improving these skills and picking up new languages along the way!
During my gap year, I gained work experience at an animal hospital, where I developed customer service skills. I was also active in extracurricular activities during my studies, which helped strengthen my leadership, management, and planning abilities. I pride myself on being adaptable—I can quickly adjust to new environments and excel at learning new tasks.
In addition to my professional skills, I possess basic life skills like cooking and housekeeping. I’m also passionate about sports such as running and swimming, and I’ve earned my PADI Open Water certification.
I’m limitless—I love learning new things, and I’m open to any possibilities!Âge

I love exploring new activities and pushing my boundaries. Beyond running, I occasionally practice weightlifting, yoga, and aerial yoga. Since earning my PADI Open Water certification, I’ve taken every chance to dive, and I’m now planning to pursue a freediving certification. I also have some hiking experience, enjoy camping so so much!
My bucket list is still long! I want to learn shooting, flying both planes and helicopters, skydiving, and more—each adventure waiting to be crossed off, one by one.
In terms of my travel experience, I’ve visited Singapore, Thailand, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea, and Denmark. Some of these trips were with family, others with friends, for events, or even solo. I’d love to share my travel stories and look forward to exploring even more places around the world!
For me, travel is about experiencing life to the fullest. By connecting with different people and discovering new things, I gain a deeper understanding of myself and the world around me. While my outlook may seem unconventional in traditional Asian culture, I remain steadfast in my beliefs!Informations complémentaires

She was suppose to look after my kids. She realised She overestimated her about looking after kids.
She left after two days leaving just a note...
