Hello!
My name is Selah.
I have four years of experience as a tree planter, seasonal laborer, and traveller.
Contributing artistically to a space would be ideal for me as I love to draw and paint. I am more than willing to contribute in other ways as well. Though I am hoping to create a couple murals during my time in Costa Rica.
I used to run a community-led arts and culture center, where I was responsible for organizing, promoting, and setting up various events. I love creating memorable events surrounding music, art, games, or just a fun and comfortable environment that encourages socializing.
I’m excited about the opportunity to join a work exchange where I can contribute creatively, spend time in nature, and nurture community!

**Murals & Public Art:**
My background includes both conceptualizing and executing public art, large and small scale.
**Event Organizing:**
Two years spent managing a community-based arts and cultural center, where over 30 successful events were organized, ranging from art galleries and community nights to fundraisers, artisan markets, and dance parties. Skilled in event planning, logistics, and creating positive, inclusive environments for attendees.
**Gardening, Planting, & Farming:**
A solid background in gardening and farming, with four seasons of tree planting, two years in landscaping, one apple picking season, and one season focused on ecological restoration. Gardening for food and beauty has been a lifelong passion, with hands-on experience working in various outdoor settings.
