Hi! I'm Seiya, from Nagano, Japan (26 years old)
I worked in a Japanese school until January 2024, teaching English and intercultural studies.
Now I would like to leave my job for a time and take a fresh look at my life.
There is a lot of nature in my hometown. I grow many vegetables at home, especially lots of mushrooms.
My hobbies are walking, reading, and listening to radio.
Also, I have knowledge of Japanese ”Zen” culture, having played the traditional Japanese sport of KENDO since I was a child. The "Zen" spirit values how we relate to nature. I am interested in thinking about how the ideas of food, nature and recycling differ from one country to another.

Please refer to the following as my experience.
I can do basic DIY things like sawing and nailing. I am not familiar with power tools but would be willing to give it a go if I am taught how to use them.
I can cook basic Japanese foods.
I really like laundry and tidying rooms.
I like interacting with children - I had a lot of contact with children aged between 10 and 18 years old in my previous job, but never had the opportunity to interacting with kindergarten children or babies, so I would be happy to receive advice.
