Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have BA in English and Writing from Portland State University, specializing in literature and poetry! I love to write poetry about memories, time, the body, relationships, nature, the magical, and everything in between. Share your experiences with me and I'll share mine with you!

I have worked predominately in Library Science fields (such as public libraries and archives), making resources accessible and preserving them for the public is one of my biggest passions. I have experience with scanners, printers, computers, audio recorders. One of my favorite recent projects has been interviewing the local homeless community with the organization Street Books about their living conditions in Portland to be published. Sharing stories I believe is where my passion for writing and archives intersect.

My second job on the weekends is working as a bartender at a half bookstore half pub. This allows me to chat with all sorts of different community members as well as host events such as literary open mics, game nights, and live music performances.

I love to work with youth of all ages! At my public library I worked at in California, I led storytime for children which was a blast. I also did a short stint interning as a kindergarten teacher. I look after my friends kids when they need, we love to run, dance, and play.

Lastly, cooking is one of my biggest personal passions. My idea of an ideal day is working in my garden, then cooking a large family meal for my friends.

Lover of all animals and have owned plenty of dogs, cats, and chickens!
