Description

I’m a practical, independent and active person who enjoys meaningful work, nature, travel and learning new things.

What motivates me most is being part of a real project where I can see the result of my work and feel that I’m useful. I enjoy working with my hands, solving practical problems and helping improve a place step by step.

I have experience in construction, painting, repairs, property maintenance and outdoor work. I have also worked in mountain areas and know how to take care of gardens, plant crops on difficult terrain and work with irrigation systems. I can operate small construction machinery such as dumpers and similar equipment.

I’m comfortable with physical work and I don’t need constant supervision. Once I understand the task and the expected result, I’m usually happy to get on with it independently.

Nature and mountains are especially important to me. I enjoy hiking, being outdoors, working with land and living away from big cities. I also like meeting people from different countries, sharing experiences and learning about other cultures.

Music is another big part of my life. I play guitar and other instruments, and I enjoy creating a relaxed atmosphere around a fire, at dinner or during small gatherings.

At this stage of my life, I’m looking not only for short-term travel experiences, but also for a place and community where I can stay for longer, contribute with my skills, learn new things and build good relationships with people.

For me, a good Workaway experience is based on mutual respect, clear communication, fairness and the feeling that both sides genuinely benefit from living and working together.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a broad range of practical skills from different types of work and life experience.

My strongest areas are construction, painting, repairs and general property maintenance. I have experience painting interiors and exteriors, repairing and maintaining houses, working with tools, assembling and fixing things, cleaning and preparing surfaces, and handling physically demanding jobs.

I also have experience working outdoors and in mountain areas. I know how to maintain gardens, plant and care for crops, work with irrigation systems, clear land and help with general farm maintenance. I’m comfortable working with olive trees, gardens and rural properties, and I can operate small construction machinery such as dumpers and similar equipment.

I have professional driving experience and hold B and C driving licences. I’m confident driving long distances, in cities and on mountain roads. I have my own car and I’m comfortable transporting people, materials or equipment when needed.

I previously worked for many years in transport and logistics, including management and organisation, so I’m good at planning, solving practical problems, organising work and taking responsibility.

I also enjoy outdoor activities and have experience with hiking, mountains, navigation and travelling independently in different countries.

Music is another important skill of mine. I play guitar, drums and other instruments, and I enjoy singing and organising informal music evenings.

I speak Russian and Ukrainian as native languages, English fluently, Finnish at conversational/basic working level, and I’m currently learning Spanish.

I’m practical, independent and adaptable. I learn quickly, I’m comfortable with physical work, and I’m not afraid of unfamiliar tasks. If I don’t know how to do something, I’m usually interested in learning and finding a solution.

I have many interests outside of work and I really enjoy an active lifestyle.

Music is a big part of my life. I play guitar, drums and balalaika, I sing, and I enjoy informal music evenings, jam sessions and playing around a campfire.

I also love travelling and exploring new places, especially mountains, lakes, coastlines and small villages rather than big tourist cities. I enjoy hiking, road trips, swimming, fishing and spending time in nature.

I have experience with different outdoor and adventure activities, including mountain trekking, diving, wakeboarding, zip-lines and paragliding. I’m also interested in navigation, survival skills and learning more about local nature.

I enjoy meeting people from different cultures, sharing stories, cooking together and having interesting conversations. I’m always curious to learn something new, whether it is a practical skill, a language, local traditions or a different way of life.

At the moment I’m also learning Spanish and I’m very interested in improving it through everyday communication.

I generally prefer a simple, active lifestyle, good company, nature, music and meaningful experiences over nightlife or luxury.
