I am a friendly and outgoing person with a passion for languages and cultures. I like to immerse myself in different cultures and live them, not just visit. Having lived in Spain for 3 years and learnt Spanish to a high level I started learning French in September and now have around a B1/B2 level. I started learning French as some of my best friends are French as someone of my best friends are French and I would love to be able to speak with them in their own language.

In my free time I love to be physically active going to the gym, playing sport and cycling. I love being outside in nature. I am very interested in foreign cinema. I love lots of different types of music and am currently learning to DJ. I would like to also learn how to play the guitar.

Through work away I hope to be able to learn more about France and its people whilst improving my language skills in and hopefully being able to share a bit of my own culture in the process.

I am fascinated by different cultures and for me there is no better way to understand them and broaden your perspective than to I learn to speak another language. I speak native English and have spent various years teaching it to both adults and children. I speak C2 level Spanish after having lived in Madrid for 3 years, I have also taught the language to others. I am deeply interested in hispanic culture across the world. More recently I started learning French. I currently have approximately a B2 level. I am extremely motivated by the opportunity to continuing improving and to learn more about French culture.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Au fil des ans, j’ai travaillé dans de nombreux rôles et secteurs. J’ai de l’expérience dans le travail manuel, y compris la menuiserie, la peinture et la pose de ciment, en travaillant sur un chantier pendant 3 mois.

En plus d’une expérience dans la gestion et la planification de programmes éducatifs pour adultes et enfants, j’ai également de l’expérience dans l’enseignement de l’anglais et de l’espagnol.

J’ai passé un certain temps à gérer les comptes de médias sociaux et à faire du marketing pour quelques entreprises en espagnol et en anglais.

Enfin, j’ai travaillé comme chef dans un restaurant ainsi que passer du temps comme serveur et barman dans divers cafés et bars.

Over the years I have worked in many different roles and industries. I have experience in manual labour including carpentry, painting and cementer laying from working on a building site for 3 months.

As well as experience in managing and planning education programmes for adults and children I also have I have experience teaching both English and Spanish.

I have spent some time running the social media accounts and doing marketing for a few companies in Spanish and English.

Finally I have worked as a chef in a restaurant as well as spending time as a waiter and barman in various cafes and bars.

J’aime pratiquer des sports comme le football, le tennis et le padel. Je suis aussi une grande fan du volleyball, du spikeball et du jogging. J’apprends à danser la salsa. J’aime le cinéma espagnol et je veux en savoir plus sur le cinéma français.

J’ai un goût très éclectique pour la musique, appréciant grandement tout, du reggae à la classique en passant par la techno et le jazz. J’apprends à DJ. J’aimerais apprendre la guitare cette année.
