Hello!

I am currently enjoying a small hiatus from the rain and gloom of Seattle and am hoping to find a sunny place to work, learn, build community, explore and reflect.

I have experience working in hostels and doing workaway in Cambodia, Cyprus, Colombia and Israel and would love to keep going!

I believe that you can learn from everyone you encounter and I hope to continue doing so every day and right now hoping to do so getting involved with an exciting project, farm, yoga retreat, eco-lodge, teaching. Really my interests are endless!

My skills have primarily been in hospitality from fine dining in Seattle to beach bartending in Cambodia and also working reception/cleaning/organizing/booking for hostels in Colombia and Israel. I am always wanting to learn new skills as well, so anything that involves working outside, with nature or animals is definitely something I am very interested in, even if I'm not necessarily very skilled in those areas at the moment.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a competent English speaker and somewhat conversational in Spanish.
I am a very knowledgeable bartender and server and have years of experience working with cocktails, food, wine and guest service. I have also worked away at hostels in Cambodia,
Colombia and Israel. And have done workaway working on a farm and garden in Cyprus.

Right now I am in the midst of learning to become a financial advisor, more interested in helping people than making the money. I would be more than happy to help hosts, workawayers or community members with their finances, however messy they may be.

I play guitar and some piano and sing and love making music and teaching music to others.
I don't have many specialized manual labor skills but I am always happy to work and learn new things and really appreciate the value of a hard day's work.
I am no computer whiz but I am confident with social media and basic computer skills.
I have extensive writing and editing experience (in english) and love to converse with people about ideas, phrasing and presentation of material.
I also love kids and sincerely enjoy interacting with them and teaching them, as well as learning from them!
I also am well versed in philosophy and theology so if someone wants to have a heady, in depth conversation I have plenty to bring to the table (don't worry though, I'm not at all one of those people who just always wants to talk serious, I have a very playful demeanor, but can dive deep if you feel like it!)
