Hi, I'm Rosie! I'm a nature and animal lover who often has multiple creative projects on the go at once, including painting, sketching, crocheting and embroidery. I love visiting new places and am currently trying to push myself to go on more solo adventures.
I want to spend some time exploring New Zealand to broaden my horizons and meet new people, as it seems like a beautiful country with lots of potential for artistic inspiration! I'm really curious about the different ways people find of living more sustainably from the land, and this is something I'd love to learn more about.

I would happily help with conversational practise in English or French as I'm fluent in these. I learnt German and Spanish at school for several years but have forgotten a lot of it! If you are knowledgeable in either of these and would like to help me practise it would be much appreciated. Additionally, I'm always curious about new languages and would be interested in learning any others that are native to you.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Having grown up in France in a bilingual household, I'm completely fluent in both French and English.
I'm a freelance artist, so I'm good at most things involving painting, crafting, or making things with my hands. I have some basic DIY experience (I love putting together Ikea furniture...) and have helped my parents repaint their walls several times. Though I'm by no means an expert in any of these manual skills, I'm very willing to learn. My current job at an arts centre requires a level of strength and fitness for moving furniture, so I don't mind doing physical work such as gardening or redecorating.
I love cooking and baking for family gatherings, and have taken care of my partner's family dogs on many occasions.

I plan to travel around New Zealand using public transport as I don't drive. It would be great to know if your workaway location is either accessible by public transport or if you would be able to pick me up at a nearby bus stop.
