Description
Hi I'm Rosie, I’m a university student from the UK, but I'm on exchange in Vancouver. Before I go back to Scotland, I have a few months to travel and create some memorable experiences! My semester at UBC ends in May, and I will be embarking on a thru-hike in June, so I'm looking for a short term place to volunteer, meet new people and help out!
I'm interested in self-improvement, and have been learning more about meditation and mindfulness. I like to spend time outdoors, hiking, camping and swimming. I love to meet new people, but I am still a quiet person really, more of a listener.
I have experience in hospitality, having worked as a care assistant, nursery assistant and general front of house in the past. I’m suited to childcare, helping around the house and kitchen, but I’m happy to leave my comfort zone and try out new tasks! I would love to be taught some bushcraft and woodworking skills.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
While I am most experienced with housekeeping/cleaning, childcare and assisting in the kitchen, I am open to helping with a range of tasks. I have experience in childcare, having worked as a nursery assistant (and as an older sister!), and hospitality, having worked in a restaurant and café. I'm opening to trying out new things, and I'm a fast learner! I'd be particularly interested in gaining some gardening skills.
