Description
Greetings! My name is Rosa. I’m a 27-year old Finnish illustrator, and translator currently studying sacred arts and different painting techniques in beautiful Florence. I moved here a year ago and my life has truly changed entirely!
In the past, besides my university studies, I have worked in many different roles, from National Opera of Finland to volunteering at a church in downtown Tokyo, I have sold diamonds in a high-end luxury store, taught Finnish for refugees, cleaned and maintained a gothic cathedral ..One could say I have pretty versatile background.
What motivates me most now is the chance to connect with people across cultures and to contribute in meaningful, creative ways—whether through language, art, or helping out with daily tasks. I find happiness in quiet, beautiful places, shared meals, purposeful work, and the small acts of kindness.
My big artistic project is to illustrate and translate John Milton's epic poem Paradise Lost (1667) into my native language while working the days - perhaps in the countryside? -

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have a diverse background that combines both practical and academic strengths. I’ve worked as a Sunday school teacher, which has taught me patience, empathy, and how to create a positive environment for others—especially children. I go to the gym three times a week and love spending time outdoors, whether it’s walking, gardening, or exploring nature. At the same time, I have an academic side: I’m a writer and translator with a deep appreciation for languages, literature, and cultural exchange. I enjoy meaningful conversations, peaceful environments, and learning new things through experience.
