🤙 I'm Rory, an Italian expat in the UK turned globetrotter.

🎭 I am passionate about arts & culture, great food, and I write for pleasure and business.
My professional training is in digital communications and journalism, but I love working with animals and towards the preservation of nature.

🌿I am interested in eco-positive projects, animal rescues, and public-facing services like hostels, bars, and other stuff where you get to give people memorable experiences!

🌟I am currently learning Spanish. I speak fluent Italian & English, and Beginners German.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

🔸 PROACTIVE TEAM PLAYER: I am happy to get involved in a variety of stuff. Even better when it's in a team with which I share the overall vision and goals.

🔸 DIY AND CONSTRUCTION: I can paint, I know how to work with wood construction and techniques, and I have learned from my workaways how to recycle/upcycle, transform materials and fix issues in and outside the house.

🔸 GARDENING and ANIMAL CARE: From scheduling watering for the veg patches, to fixing fencing and minor stuff, I am keen to get my hands dirty with whatever needed outdoors. I have cared for cats and dogs, and I have worked with horses (cleaning surroundings, feeding, washing, making compost).

🔸 COMMUNICATIONS: my professional training is as a journalist. I've worked with charities in the UK doing admin, content strategy, and I am a qualified social media creator!

🔸 PUBLIC-FACING: I am good in people situations. It takes me a little bit to get 100% comfortable and in my element, but when I do I start giving my absolute best.

I love, *love* everything about food: techniques, vegan and vegetarian, different cuisines. I love talking about it, thinking about it, and making it!
