Hello everyone, my name is Robert! I am 22 and I'm from the United States.

I just finished university and I am following my dream to travel the world and connect with lots of incredible people and cultures! I heard about volunteering abroad through a friend and thought it was an amazing idea - I love helping others in whichever way I can and getting to know them, along with sharing a living space and immersing myself in their culture, is a big bonus! :)

I was once quite shy but have since learned that I love meeting new people and learning about their lives and backgrounds, and sharing memories and experiences together. I am very excited to gain new perspectives and learn more about the world through people, and also to make new friends and have lots of fun!

My first job at 14 was toiling in a cornfield for a summer, which I found myself unexpectedly enjoying. I have lots of experience working with children as a tutor, counselor, and mentor, and I am willing to tackle any challenge and do almost any sort of work that's needed, ranging from gardening to babysitting to cooking to heavy labor. I am a fast learner and always eager to develop new skills and dedicate myself to any task I have.

I love being active, playing sports like tennis, basketball, soccer, really anything, and I really enjoy singing and sharing music with others! I also like to be creative through reading, writing, and learning languages.

My fondest memories are sharing fun moments with other people and being immersed in nature, and I love seeing all the unique landscapes and natural features that exist in our world! I enjoy hiking and being in the outdoors, along with working with animals and exploring the surrounding environment.

As for working with me, I consider myself a considerate and polite person, who is also clean and respectful of space. I keep an open mind and I am totally receptive of any feedback, and I'm always up for any challenge!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have around 5 years of experience working with children - 3 as a tutor (mostly one-on-one), 1 as a mentor for a group of children, and 1 as a babysitter. I am able to help around the kitchen and around the house in any general capacity, and I have worked in a general farm setting before, though I don't have too much detailed experience, I am eager to try anything.

I'm experienced in taking care of cats and dogs (I currently have one dog), and I am always helping with computers/internet with my own family.

Above all, I am very enthusiastic about learning new skills and putting all my energy and knowledge into helping you! There is no better feeling than to feel helpful and fulfilled in supporting others.

As for other hobbies, I enjoy baking (mainly sweets) and playing the piano, and I love to watch movies and play any sort of games.

I am a little afraid of heights :)
