Hi there:D
I’m a nurse from Hong Kong, and I’ve just quit my job after working for 6 years. I am heading to Austria for a one-year working holiday in September.

I have always loved to travel and explore different cultures and places, but lately I wish to stay at a country longer to experience the life there, instead of just a brief vacation. I want to explore other possibilities of lifestyle that is slow and sustainable, something different from the fast-paced life in Hong Kong.

2 years ago, I volunteered at a local farm in Hong Kong. I mainly helped with weeding and some basic farming tasks. The experience was physically demanding, but rewarding at the same time.It also inspired me to join Workaway, to continue volunteering and learning, but overseas.

I considered myself an introvert, and I like to read, cook and write journals a lot. At the same time, I am a curious and open-minded person. I like outdoor activities such as camping and hiking, and I love learning new skills. I don't mind to get my hands dirty and I’m happy to help wherever I can! :D

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been working as a nurse in a public hospital for 6 years, so I am equipped with rigid knowledge and experience of nursing care. I've trained to communicate with different parties and work under high pressure.
While I don't have pets, I volunteered at a shelter for strayed dogs in the past, took care of my friend's cat when she is abroad as well. so you can say I have some experience with pets too :D
I can also play piano so I can teach you if you want:D
