Description

We are two best friends, Grischa and Piet, who have just graduated from school and are looking forward to getting to know New Zealand from many different perspectives. We are very inspired by the nature of New Zealand. Both of us are very sporty. We've been playing field hockey and basketball since we were little. We also go to the gym and go jogging. So exercise is our thing and we would live it out in the New Zealand countryside by hiking and jogging. In the last two years we have gained experience in the catering industry, which is one of the ways we financed our trip. At home, we both have a garden where we like to help our parents with chores. Our garden is full of fruit, herbs and vegetables. We are therefore familiar with the use of many tools and also have some manual skills. We would be very happy if we were given the opportunity to live out this interest. Besides sports and nature, we grew up in large families and large circles of friends. We are all the more interested in the life of the people in New Zealand. And we are very happy to gain an insight.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are open to a variety of challenges, especially in areas such as gardening, DIY projects or social tasks.
For example, we converted and furnished a caravan in the garden into a cozy little house. We laid new flooring, installed a new ceiling and built a wooden terrace around it. We also relieve our parents of tasks such as painting the house and various woodworking jobs. As our fathers both prefer to repair things themselves and always take us with them, we've already done a lot of things.

As already mentioned, we have experience in the catering industry. Grischa has worked as a waiter in a small café that also binds and sells flowers. Piet worked in the kitchen of a restaurant. There he prepared food for the chefs.

We both grew up in a large family with many young cousins, so it was natural for us to spend time with them. We are also assistant coaches in field hockey and basketball and look after younger children.

In the garden, lawn mowing, planting and watering are some of the chores we take care of in our household. In our garden there are raspberries, grapes, apples, tomatoes, herbs and currants, which we help to look after.
In terms of language, German is our mother tongue. In addition to German, we have got an advanced English level. Furthermore, we both have a scientific Abitur with a very good grade.
We are also happy to help others learn German if required.
We don't shy away from many tasks and look forward to new challenges.
