Hi,
My name is Pia, I'm from Germany and 21 years old. Until I start with studying art in Oktober, I still have some time to travel. Last year I have been traveling a lot and also had some Workaway experiences.
A bit about me :)
I grew up in Germany near Cologne
I'm very interested in practicing art, especially painting and pottery and also in music, i have played the piano for over 8 years. Additionally I like to do outside activities a lot, such as hiking, swimming, playing soccer or volleyball. Nevertheless I spend most of my time outside whether its gardening or just enjoying a walk in the Forrests.
I am looking forward to meet you and learn from you.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Starting with practical skills, in my past school years, I had the chance to do many internships. I had a agriculture internship, where I worked on an organic farm. I learned a lot about planting and the growth of plants, meanwhile learning how to prepare meals with vegetables that I watched growing, knowing how and where it came from.
last year I worked on a plant and animal sanctuary, where I spent a lot of time working on fences weeding and construction work, but also working with the animals (cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, donkeys, sheep and goats). Working with animals had always been a part in my life due to my roots in Turkey, where I have been a lot in the nature, going a lot to hill farms, where I gazed the cows, and played with the calves. We also raised chickens at home and had some goats and sheep.
I life with cats and a dog and love having animals around.
Nevertheless I had an internship in the section of voluntary work, where I helped people that did not understand German with their paper work. I gave children extra tuitions and helped them with their homework.
Art is one of my passions and I spent a lot time with it. I know a lot about technics such as in the field of painting, sculpturing and printing.
In the past year I gave some art and theater workshops for kids and worked with them for a couple of weeks.
Furthermore I worked in a bookbindery for some month, so I bring some experiences in this labor :)
At the moment I work in a cafe as a barista. Like this I could learn a lot about interacting with customers and do not have a problem with a hard shift at a full cafe :D
In my family I have a lot of young children, that I took care of, also through my internships I where always in touch with children and can work, but also have a lot of fun with them.
