Je m’appelle Peggy et je viens de Hong Kong. J’ai commencé à explorer le monde à 16 ans, et ça m’a apporté tellement de bonheur, de belles amitiés et m’a aidée à mieux me connaître. Aujourd’hui, je voyage toujours, mais avec un autre objectif : redonner et soutenir des causes locales. Actuellement, je suis basée à Lyon, en France, où je vis depuis plus de six mois pour apprendre le français.

Je suis entrepreneure sociale et j’ai lancé une entreprise à Hong Kong qui autonomise de jeunes femmes en difficulté à travers des bijoux éco-responsables fabriqués à partir de déchets alimentaires. Les premières années étaient hyper intenses mais enrichissantes, et maintenant que tout est plus stable, je travaille en digital nomad pour gérer l’entreprise à distance. Je suis une âme passionnée, curieuse et motivée, toujours en quête d’apprentissage. J’adore les langues, les cultures, les rencontres internationales, le bénévolat, la randonnée, le camping, la nature, la cuisine, les musées, l’art, l’artisanat, le tennis/padel et la photo. J’aime aussi les discussions profondes sur les enjeux sociaux !

I am Peggy from Hong Kong. I started exploring the world since I was 16, which has brought me so much happiness, friendships, and has helped me discover myself. I am still traveling around now with another purpose which is to give back and support local causes. I am currently based in Lyon, France and have lived there for over 6 months for learning french.

I am a social entrepreneur who started a social enterprise in Hong Kong that empowers young underprivileged women through sustainable jewelry upcycled out of food waste. The first few years of the business were hectic yet fulfilling and things are now more stable so I'm currently working as a digital nomad to manage the business. I am a passionate, compassionate, curious motivated and action-driven soul who always loves learning languages, cultures, international friendships, volunteering, hiking, camping, nature, cooking, museums, art, crafts, tennis/padel, and photography. Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Personally, I have been active volunteer for multiple non-profits like WWOOF, AFS, VolTra Hong Kong. I volunteered as a WWOOF organic farmer in a small village in Korea for 3 months in summer and in Thailand for 2 weeks.

Academically, I studied English Communications for the Bachelor and International Relations for my Master. I am bilingual in Cantonese and English, also fluent in Mandarin. I am also learning French.

Professionally, I am a social entrepreneur, meaning I know how to manage a social enterprise and pitch for fundings. I also have experiences in non-profit organizations, governmental bodies and tertiary educational institutions in Hong Kong.

Personnellement, je suis une bénévole active depuis longtemps et j’ai collaboré avec plusieurs associations comme WWOOF, AFS et VolTra Hong Kong. J’ai été agricultrice bio volontaire avec WWOOF dans un petit village en Corée pendant trois mois en été, et aussi en Thaïlande pendant deux semaines.

Sur le plan académique, j’ai étudié la communication en anglais pour mon Bachelor et les relations internationales pour mon Master. Je suis bilingue en cantonais et en anglais, et je parle aussi couramment le mandarin. En ce moment, j’apprends le français.

Professionnellement, je suis entrepreneure sociale, donc je sais comment gérer une entreprise sociale et pitcher pour obtenir des financements. J’ai aussi de l’expérience dans le secteur associatif, les organismes gouvernementaux et les établissements d’enseignement supérieur à Hong Kong.
