Hey there!

I'm Paula, a 26 year old backpacker from Dresden, Germany. Currently I'm out and about living my dream of staying in New Zealand for a year.

I'm a very bubbly, positive thinking and outgoing person who loves to travel around and learn about new cultures and languages. So far I've lived in Costa Rica for a year and traveled a lot of Europe and some parts of Asia.

When I'm not working nor travelling, I like to spend my time outside hiking or camping. I also love to socialise with my friends, sharing a coffee or two and new stories. Sometimes I do need some time to reconnect with myself. For that I love to read a book, watch a documentary or do artsy stuff, like embroidery or pottery.

I hope to connect with new people and I'm looking forward to share stories and laughters :-)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I bring a mix of practical and communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude to any situation. For the last few years I worked in retail and also did some waitress jobs here and there. This helped me a lot to not only work alone but also in and as a team. I'm a hard worker and love to learn new skills.

When I was younger my grandparents had a garden. I loved to spend my time there and help them out with everything. I'm familiar with planting and weeding as well as just general maintaining. Also I don't mind getting my hands dirty to help create a beautiful space.
During my high school year in Costa Rica I also did some volunteer work. We helped to clean up the beach and painted some walls and a beautiful arche for the community space.
In my free time I also enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes, which I would love to share.

I'm more than happy to lend a hand wherever it's needed! Wether it's houshold/ cleaning tasks, DIY projects, cooking, looking after pets, or anythiong else. I enjoy adapting to new situations and am more than excited to contribute in any way I can.
