Hola!
I'm Pauline, 23 and from Germany.

After living in Scotland for a year for my studies and benefiting a lot from the intercultural exchange, I knew I wanted to see more.
So last summer I decided to go to Tenerife as a workawayer. It was the best decision of my life because it opened up endless new views and perspectives on the world. I found that a simple lifestyle makes me much happier than the life I lived in the society I grew up in. I want to get to know other countries and their cultures. I want to meet people from all over the world and hear their stories while living in community and love with each other. That's why I decided to pack my backpack and leave Europe indefinitely. It has long been my dream to explore Latin America because I am very interested in the culture, I love the openness, warmth and joy that the people there spread. I also learn Spanish and dance a lot of Salsa in my free time.

I am a very open, hard working, flexible but also organised person. I am very excited to learn new things and be a help and support.
Apart from that, I love cooking, yoga, hiking and spending time with mother nature in general.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Throughout my life I’ve done various kinds of jobs. I have worked as a temp at a hairdresser and a Christmas market for a few years and have advertised for a company, so I know how to be open and friendly to customers. During my time in Tenerife I worked in a hostel and was mainly responsible for cleaning, cooking and interact with the guests. I have done several internships in the theatre and film industry, which have taught me to implement things quickly and adapt to situations. Working as an opera director assistant taught resistance, patience and endurance. I am a fast learner and open to new and different tasks. My favourite job at the moment is leisure assistance for a man with Down syndrome. We cook and play games together. It definitely trains my sensitivity and social skills, but most of all I benefit from the human interaction.
