Hi :)

My name is Paolo, I’m 25 years old and I live in Italy, Turin. I graduated in physics in November, but even though I like physics, I’m developing a stronger interest in social issues, which is why I’m planning to completely change my field of study and enrol in a master’s degree in cultural anthropology next year.

I consider myself a passionate and curious person, but also introspective. I'm choosing to travel Europe for a few months to take a break from studying for exams, to cultivate other personal interests (such as reading books and watching films I’ve wanted to, but couldn’t due to lack of time), meet new people, and explore the world. I’m also doing this because I want an experience that helps me grow and better understand who I am and who I want to be.

I’m a native Italian speaker. I have a B2 level of English, and I studied Spanish for three years when I was between 11 and 13 years old, so I can partially understand it in written form or when it’s spoken slowly. I anyway like languages, so I'm longing to learn them more while travelling.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I studied physics and have been giving private lessons in physics and mathematics since high school. I also worked as a mathematics teacher in a high school for 5 months. For several years, I've volunteered as an educational mentor for children and teenagers about seven years younger than me. I'm able to do some manual works and longing to learn others. I really like to cook and enjoy helping out in the kitchen.
