My name is Matteo, I’m a 32-year-old Italian teacher who will soon be moving to Australia — but before that, I want to take the chance to explore and get to know the culture of some amazing countries, especially Japan.
I truly enjoy cultural exchange and volunteering experiences, which I see as wonderful ways to connect with people and learn about their everyday life, traditions, and values.
I have a wide range of interests and a background that includes many different work and volunteer experiences. I’m always curious to learn new things and happy to share what I know.
People usually describe me as respectful, friendly, reliable, and independent, and I like to bring a positive attitude wherever I go. I really look forward to meeting both old and new friends along the way and creating meaningful memories together.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have good interpersonal skills with adults, children, young people and fragile people. I was a professor of Mathematics and Sciences and that experience made me passionate about education at all levels. I have done many other jobs and have had many volunteer experiences, in Italy and abroad.
I have a degree in Forest Sciences and I have a great passion for everything that has to do with the environment.
I enjoy doing housework, gardening and pet care. In the past I worked on a farm and in a vivarium.
I am a cooking enthusiast and sometimes I have cooked for many people (20 maximum).
I can use different computer programs (graphics, statistics, GIS).
