Hello, Workaway friends!

My name is Oona, and I'm from Chicago. Ready to trade in corporate life to travel the world, learn new skills and meet great people.

Helping others and a good meal makes me happy! Traveling not only introduces me to new perspectives and cultures but it is also allows me to learn about myself along the way. I'm newish to solo traveling, and after years of working remote, I'm ready to enjoy a new way of living.

I'm open to families, female-hosts and communities. I'm more on the tech-savvy side, but I learn quickly! I am looking to connect with nature and learn all types of skills (cooking, gardening, Spanish language, DIY projects and more! I am quite and tidy, and enjoy alone time. Privacy, cleanliness and safety is the highest priority!

In exchange, I can offer help with organic marketing, website design, digital audio lessons (Logic Pro X), voiceovers, shooting content, nannying, etc., and anything you're willing to help me learn! I have an MA in Sound Engineering and a dual BA in Business and Music, loads of freelance experience and experience working in public school systems and nannying.

Music - experience with vocal training, recording and editing music, creating curriculums (K-5th), piano
Audio - recording and editing in ProTools and Logic Pro X
Marketing - softwares: Canva, iMove, ClipChamp , HubSpot, Jira, WordPress, SquareSpace, and more; creating content, website design, posting and ideating, newsletters, etc.

Customer service - freelancing with music and film productions
