Hello!
I'm Oli, a 26-year-old from South East London. I am a bookseller by trade but I make up most of my time by playing with my band, painting, rock climbing, reading and watching films.
An avid Francophile, I've had many wonderful opportunities to explore France touring with my band, but have never travelled alone. This year I have started learning French in earnest and I'm keen to make long-lasting memories with Workaway hosts whilst honing my French skills (which, though I like to think of myself as a fast learner, are still very basic...).
I love creating in all senses of the word: drawing, painting, making sounds, conversing. But also enjoy quiet and meditation. I have just finished my first level of qualification to become a therapeutic counsellor and bring the skills I have loved learning to my interpersonal relationships.

This year I started learning French in earnest and would love to use my Workaway experiences as opportunities to develop my French skills. I hope to be fluent one day and move to France when the time is right.

I am very hands on, love working up an appetite through manual labour and have a knack for DIY.
I come from a long line of gardeners and am very green-fingered myself.
I am patient, organised and able to motivate others to enjoy whatever tasks are required of them.
I love working on group projects or concentratedly on my own.
I am not the most adventurous cook, but love getting involved and am always keen to learn.
