Hello there! My name is Peter and I am a 20 years old and live in Copenhagen, Denmark.

I have joined Workaway with the intend of learning new skills, languages, customs and people. In exchange I hope I can be helpful and entertaining company in the meantime.

I've been attracted to the idea of combining travelling and working for quite a while. I want to meet new people, I want to experience new places, tastes and things, I want to feel and be helpful. And if there is any chance that I can help somebody with their passion and/or duty and job along the way, that sounds like a clear win in my book.

In terms of my interests and hobbies, I spend most of my time on cultural stuff. I like reading, listening to music and watching movies. I enjoy learning about history, philosophy, religion, politics, economics etc. I generally just enjoy learning, and the more foreign to me the subject is, the happier I am to listen. I like to eat healthy and I train 2-3 days a week.

I have no specific goals in terms of travelling, I simply want to experience as many different places and people as I can, and I thought travelling with Workaway would be a great way to achieve that. I hope you will have me! :)

I am currently trying to learn French and Japanese. though I am not specifically travelling for language training/exchange, i would be happy to meet someone willing to teach. I am fluent in Danish and English, and so would be happy to teach anyone who is interested to learn. -- For the record, I generally do not recommend learning Danish. It is a fairly weird and hard-to-grasp language and all of us speak English anyway :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My main skill is the fact that I am a healthy, somewhat fit, relatively large 20 year-old guy. in other words, I am not very technically gifted, and so my body is my main tool, a tool which you may happily apply to whatever problem you need solving.

That being said, I do believe myself to be a relatively quick learner. And in terms of practical experience, I have done a fair share of odd jobs over the last couple years. I have helped build terraces, set up windows and draperies, done childcare, eldercare, walked dogs, cleaned, cooked and more. I've also spent a decent amount of time renovating my grandmother's vacation house.

In terms of actual job experience, I have spent most of my time in service-minded jobs. I worked as a cashier/coffee guy at a bakery for 2 years, at a salatbar for 4 months and then as a "runner" in a conference center for the last 6 months. this included cleaning, baking, plating, servicing, throwing heavy stuff around, shopping, etc.
