Description

Hi! I'm Norina, I'm Gambian and German grew up in the lovely smiling coast of Africa, The Gambia. I'm currently living in Amsterdam, where I'm doing my bachelor. I love spending time outside and enjoying the simple things in life, like eatings fruits, feeling the sunshine and reading a good book.
Traveling is one of the things I love most but I also want to combine it with giving back to place I'm visiting and learning as much as I can from the people I meet. I think one of the most beautiful things life has to offer is being able to have genuine and meaningful encounters with people and helping each other grow and evolve.
Growing up my father spent a lot of time at our family farm in the gambia and his passion for agriculture began to rub off on me, I'm now at a stage where I eagerly want to learn more about sustainable living in a hands on way.
I love being active and outside and getting things done but I also also I appreciate the slow life at times, to reflect and just enjoy the simplicity of being. Some of my hobbies are yoga, running, photography and reading.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm a calm and easy going person but I have a lot of energy when doing tasks that I'm passionate about. I would say I have a pragmatic mindset and I really enjoy getting things done, whether it be organizing things, photography , gardening or making art. My family house is in a rural area in Gambia so have some experience in garden work and I love to get my hands dirty. I've also done quite a few painting jobs in my life, from furniture to fences and walls.
I've been doing photography as a hobby for the past 5 years and I have some experience in content creation. I also started my own brand recently and it has taught me a lot about management and collaboration.
I have good interpersonal skills as I currently work as a waitress on boats in Amsterdam so I encounter a lot of different people and tend to get along well with people easily.

I am very open minded and willing to learn and try out new things and do my best to be helpful and make a positive impact wherever I'm am :)
