Description

Hello, I'm Nikolas, 35 years old from Switzerland, and I'm an open-minded person who likes to get involved and create something positive in the world. Workaway it's a wonderful way to meet people, new cultures, learn and extend skills. My interests are in sustainability, carpentry, gardening and I would like to work more on these topics. Furthermore, I love sports, especially surfing and hiking, and I am an absolute nature person, it makes me happy to be surrounded by animals!

I have a bachelor degree in optometry, but I also have skills in carpentry and outdoor guiding.

In my last workaway in Hawaii, I had the opportunity to help to build wooden sheds. I loved this experience, I found a new passion and friends for life!

At the moment I'm travelling with my girlfriend Carina. She is 29 years old and she is originally from Portugal but moved to Germany when she was 7 years, but let her introduce herself:

"Hey I'm Carina from Germany with Portuguese roots, I'm 29 years old, graphic designer and I love being in nature, having animals around me, surfing, hiking, plants and DIY projects. I come from a handicraft family and was allowed to help at an early age, which has given me a lot of skill and spatial thinking. My green thumb I have from my grandparents, because they have different fields, and I was always allowed to help in the summer."
