Hei guys! I love hiking, mountain-biking, swimming and diving, cooking and learning new languages. Meeting new people is fun, especially listening to crazy stories and getting to know foreign traditions!

Description

Hei sånn! I'm Nina from Germany. 😊 I have a love for hands-on work so chose to become a scientist to assist in the establishment of a saver and healthier environment for people all around the globe.
I had a few nice workaway stays so far and learned a lot of new skills!
I'm proud to say, that I'm very good at painting and gardening, have done some carpentry and construction work. Other than that I have a good hand with various pets and also have experience with staying with kids.
My favourite thing to do is learning new stuff and figuring things out!

Since I'm traveling by public transport, I'm especially thankful, if my host shows me around and takes me with them to some happenings! 🌻

I love learning new languages and I wish to speak at least 3 languages fluent (next to my native language). Currently I'm very interested in Norwegian, Italian and French! Since German is my native language I can share one or two tips for it as well.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love working outdoors and I share the spirit of many Germans: There is no bad weather, there is only wrong clothing.
My family in Germany has a big garden and since I was a child I helped planting and harvesting vegetables, and fruit. We also have 10 energetic hens and a cat 😍 I also love to do detail work where you need a lot of patience, which helped a lot during my studies when I was working in the lab.
In my recent workaway stays I did some woodwork, changed tires, removed and installed windows, sanded and painted walls, and used various types of saws (including chainsaw). All great experiences while I was able to connect with so many new people 😊
I lived in a shared accommodation with a fellow student for years, so I did a lot of cooking and baking, for several days/more persons.🧑🏼‍🍳
German is my native language and I'm really good at explaining grammar. We had a few foreign fellow students, and I was able to talk with them about the German language and what they could do better.

🌞🌻I am a quick learner and show passion in what I'm doing, so if there is anything you care to teach me I would be very grateful!

I'm quite interested in technology (hard- and software) and have at least a basic understanding of programming languages due to my studies. So I'm kind of a geek I guess. I'm also quite good at taking pictures, and finding the right angle.📸
My favoriten band is Green Day, I (re)discovered my passion for mountain-biking, I love going on hiking trips and enjoy looking at the sea, and going for a swim no matter the temperature 🥶😂
