Hi! I’m 22, originally from Vietnam and currently studying in France. I’m new to Workaway, but I’m really excited about the idea of slow travel, meaningful exchanges, and getting to know people through their stories.
What motivates me most is connection with people, with places, and with the small moments that make an experience memorable. I love meeting new people, listening to their stories. I also love watching movies that make me think for daysss 🎞️
I really enjoy cooking, especially for others. There’s something so fulfilling about seeing people enjoy what I make. I tend to cook dishes that are rich in flavor, with lots of herbs and spices (very Asian style!), but I’m also flexible and happy to adapt to different tastes. I also love cooking outdoors, especially after a hike with a beautiful mountain view, then set up a camp near a lake or waterfall and cook 🏔️
Coffee is also my big love. Vietnam has such a unique and vibrant coffee culture that many people don’t fully know about, and I love sharing that with others as I make my own coffee almost every day ☕
In my free time, I love thrifting clothes, accessories, little pins, objects, and random souvenirs. When I travel, I’d prefer to get souvenirs and postcards in antique shops than souvenir stores.
I also shoot film photography, snd shooting film in Europe is so much more expensive than in Vietnam so I tend to not waste any frame just to experiment like I did before, now I use it to document people and moment i treasure in my life 📷 🎞️
I speak English, Vietnamese and Korean, and I’m currently learning French and Hungarian. I currently work remotely a few hours a day. Before coming to France, I was tutoring English for 1 year, an English-Vietnamese translator 1 year, and had around 3 years of experience working in education.
Overall, I’m someone who is curious, adaptable, and genuinely excited to learn from every place and person I meet. I’d love to contribute, share, and be part of your daily life, even just for a short time ✨
