Hello! My name is Nele, I am from Kiel, northern Germany (near the danish border) and I am a trained travel advisor. After my apprenticeship, I started studying geography, which I'm currently in the middle of. I am using my semester breaks for traveling
and whats a better way than to combine it with meeting new people and helping each other out? :)
For me it's important to challenge myself - by learning new things and leaving my comfort zone. I grew up on a farm where I spent a lot of time in the nature surrounded by animals and learned to appreciate and love the smalls things in life.
My friends describe me as a calm, reliable and open minded person with a positive mindset who has always a smile on the lips. As a balance from work I love to do sports, yoga, hang out with my friends/family or enjoy me-time in the nature/reading a book.
A few years ago I already worked for accommodation&food in Australia with helpx - by working in a motel, at a farm and a bakery I already made different experiences.
I am flexible, willing to work hard and learn new skills.
I am curious to get to know new countries and people again! :)

I am really interested to get to know new cultures and learn new languages. I always resolve to learn new languages from home on my own but i am convinced that it is much more fun to learn it by living in the country you are traveling to and speaking it directly to the people. I can also teach you my language German if you are interested in! :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
As I am a travel advisor I have good experience when it comes to working with guests and also in the tourist industry.
I also worked in a children's home as a volunteer in my hometown in Germany and had consistently babysitter jobs.
After school I spent some time in Australia where I have already worked for free accommodation. Whether I worked in a motel, hostel, at a cattle farm or bakery - I am flexible and love to learn new things! :)
