Hi! I love to travel (I guess everyone here does), to read (fiction), and to learn about new languages. I dream of setting up a cafe bar one day and make croissants every morning, even though I know that is a lot of work. My favorite symphony is Mahler's 5th (although I've also been listening to his 2nd lately).

I've been working with refugees in emergency contexts (at the UN) for the past five years now and am now taking a career break, kind of like the cliché soul-searching trips you go on when you don't know what to do next.

I live in Mexico City, and even though its a beautiful city rich in culture, I am excited to take a break from the big urban jungle and live a more quiet life for a couple weeks to disconnect from the world and reconnect with nature.

I am natively fluent in English and Spanish and happy to teach! I taught English at a refugee camp in Greece and developed the NGO teaching curriculum. I love learning languages and am a quick learner, I am especially enthralled by Arabic (taught myself the alphabet) and Greek.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I studied philosophy, so I am great at doing any kind of desk work (which I realize is probably not very common here). I can translate, edit, write. I am natively fluent in Spanish and English and conversationally fluent in French!

I am a good cook and worked as a pastry chef aid so I know my way around the kitchen.

I am a very fast learner, not afraid to get my hands dirty and not discouraged by hard work. I also love physical activity, gardening and being outdoors.

In my free time, I like to visit art museums, and hangout with friends, I am ver social, and read (when I have down time).

I also love physical activity and am always going on a run, doing a yoga or pilates class, going swimming, snorkeling or trying something new.
