Description

We are Keston and Nathalie, a married couple from Western Canada, with our 9month baby boy, who love to explore wherever we are led! It is a delight to explore the beautiful variety of people, places, and creatures in this world, and to share our light and joy with all who we meet!

I (Nathalie) am a health coach and technician, and my husband Keston is a minister. At home, we run a health and wellness medispa, where we help people to heal their bodies, souls, and spirits. I speak English, and a little French, am very handy around the house, good at painting, organizing, plant-tending/gardening, and enjoy making music and singing. Keston has a good sense of humor, is good at listening and ministering to people, child-minding, cleaning, heavy lifting, and enjoys animals.

We have a baby and enjoy family life. We take turns looking after him while the other works. He is a happy child who loves to laugh, travels well, and brings joy to those who meet him. He enjoys swimming or bathing, strolling in the park, playing with his toys, expanding his mobility skills (currently crawling), and visiting people. We hope he will be a blessing to you during our stay!

In our spare time, we go for walks, swim, visit family, and like to volunteer by ministering to people and sharing our health and wellness tools. We also like to study theology, history, health & science, play billiards, mini golf, and have a good laugh.

While staying in the Netherlands, we are excited to connect with locals to learn about their culture and way of life, and share ours if they are interested. We are happy to help however we can, with the skills we have. Nathalie is also interested in learning some new skills, such as tiling, or bee-keeping. In our spare time, we are hoping to access the bus or train to visit Rotterdam and Amsterdam. We are interested in sightseeing, old buildings or churches and history, shopping, parks, and flowers. Our baby may also enjoy visiting the zoo, if there is one around.
If time permits, we could visit Belgium or Germany.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We run a health and wellness centre / medispa with an expertise in natural health, detoxification, and integrative healing.
Nathalie has experience with health sciences and overcoming chronic health challenges, working with elderly and developmentally-challenged people, gardening, landscaping, home maintenance, painting, house keeping, organizing, playing musical instruments, singing, art, writing, child-minding, caring for animals and livestock.
Keston has experience with ministry, public speaking, teaching adults, connecting with young people, spending time with children, caring for pets, house-cleaning, assisting with mechanical maintenance and other odd jobs, driving a variety of vehicles, and fitness/staying in shape.

We enjoy spending time outdoors, and are not afraid to get our hands dirty with some work. We enjoy a clean space, and are quiet, (unless playing instruments or singing.) We are Christian believers, but will not push our beliefs on others. However, if you're open, we'll share some wild stories of spiritual experiences!

We have a baby, and take turns looking after him while the other works or helps around the house. He sleeps in our bed, so no need for a special arrangement. We hope you understand our need for flexibility with him.

We do not drink, but don't mind if you do. We are happy to help with cooking and cleaning up. We are introverts, so although we enjoy visiting and connecting with people, we do require some quiet time alone to recharge.

We are looking to stay 1-2 weeks, or up to a month if we are all enjoying ourselves!
