Description
Hi! I am a 31-year old backpacker hailing from the easternmost corner of the US. After studying Sociology and Art History in university, I worked for a few years in the arts nonprofit sphere, chiefly in communications and fundraising. In 2017, I packed up and left for a two-year adventure working around Australia. In October 2019, I moved to New Zealand and travelled for nearly three years up and down the islands, volunteering in rural communities, yoga retreats and building an intentional community and event space in Christchurch. After some time back in the U.S. with family, I am back on the road around Europe and the Middle East while working part-time as a researcher online, hoping to grow my experience in community-building and meeting amazing people along the way.

2021-2 - Founded warehouse community based on principles of resourcefulness, participation and radical inclusion in Christchurch (New Zealand)
2021 - Led outdoor school camps at The Farm, Bay of Islands (New Zealand)
2020-1 - Catered for yoga students at Kawai Purapura Retreat Centre, Auckland (New Zealand)
2020 - Practiced earth-building at Karuna Falls community, Coromandel (New Zealand)
2020 - Contributed to building, painting and gardening projects as part of off-grid family in Fox River (New Zealand)
2019-20 - Managed reception and daily cleaning of hostel in Alice Springs (Australia)
2018 - Planned kids' workshops alongside local artist in Melbourne (Australia)
