Description

I love the outdoors, traveling and trying new things. I to aim to live a healthy, active lifestyle and can work well independently or with a group. I enjoy meeting new people but also appreciate some alone time. For the past 30 yrs I have been a professional gardener with knowledge of forest management, wildlife conservation and organic gardening specializing in wildlife conservation and pollinators. I am an active member of rhe American Red Cross Disaster Teams. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter as well as participate in orher volunteer opportunities throughout the year. I enjoy long walks, hiking, nature, animals, cooking and gardening, but most of all exploring the world, learning about different cultures, meeting cool people and trying new experiences.

Have a TEFL certification from International TEFL Academy and a BA in Art and Communication from an accredited University with experience teaching English in Vietnam and Cambodia. I know a limited anount of Spanish and would like to be more proficient at it. ❤️ Duolingo but not the same as learning from a native speaker.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Garden design and maintenance, some renovation skills ( I live in a175 yr old house), animal care (we currently have 2 dogs and 25 chickens), cooking, organizational and management skills, certified and experienced English teacher. I am self motivated and can work well with others. Not afraid to try new things or get my hands dirty.

I am an outdoor enthusiast who loves trees, flowers, nature of all sorts and animals. I have a degree in Art and Communications with a minor in English. Besides the outdoors, I enjoy music, books, games and anything that gives an adrenaline rush. Meaningful, mind expanding conversations, exploring and learning are activities I often engage in. I do not smoke or vape and prefer a healthy lifestyle. Most importantly, I like to have fun, meet new people, experience and learn from and about other cultures 😊,☮️
