Hi ! My name is Marielys ! I am so excited to meet you ! I am extremely motivated by culture, history, and language. I have lived and studied abroad in Europe, it is my passion to travel and experience diversity. I’m looking for an opportunity to expand my horizons while doing something I love. I enjoy communicating across all cultures and I would be extremely blessed to be a part of any of these wonderful opportunities. My faith is an anchor in my life which grants me peace, stability and enables me to value every moment and person I encounter. I view each day of life as a gift and want to make the most of every day. I would describe my self as adventurous , responsible, respectful, positive and outgoing. I find solutions to problems and look for the best outcome in every situation. I was born in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, and raised in the one and only , Miami, Florida. I am fluent in Spanish , English, and Italian. I adore children and have been a teacher for over 10 years. I like to give back and explore other countries in the summer during my time off in the states.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a degree in education and love children, been working with children for over 10 years. I have had the privilege to participate in missions work all over the world. We provided medical help for families in low socioeconomic areas, taught vacation bible school , built homes, taught drama workshops and much more. These experiences have shaped my interpersonal and leadership skills. I am fluent in two or more languages, fully computer literate, have excellent communication skills, writing skills, great eye for detail, and creative. I have also worked in administrative positions as office manager and events coordinator for various universities. I am open to all possibilities, indoors or outdoors. I am a kind of person who gets along well with others due to being open and considerate of people and their cultures. Above all else, I pride myself on my cultural sensitivity when I find myself in the company of others who do not share a similar background as mine. My favorite hobbies are reading, event planning, water sports , exercise, travel, volunteering, cooking, hosting events, spending time in nature, and of course playing with my precious 3 year old Albino Shih Tzu ! Cant wait to meet you !
