Hola! I'm Marta, a 34-year-old from Spain. I work in marketing and advertising, but my real passion is traveling. I've traveled quite a lot since I was a kid, but tired of doing so only from vacation to vacation, I'm planing to take a gap year in 2024 and travel solo around the world. I speak Spanish, Catalan, English and a little French, but I love to learn at least the basics on the language of every country I visit. Nice to meet you and see you around! :)

Any country I go I always try to learn the basics, not only for respect, but in order to be able to speak to the locals and hear their stories. So I'd love to learn about yours, since language is a big part of one's culture.On my side, I can teach you some Spanish or English (also Catalan, but it's a minority language). We can also speak some French, I don't know a lot, but enough for basic conversations.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm an Account Director and Project Manager in marketing and advertising so some of my strengths are project managing, budgeting, team leading, organizing, summarizing, planning, timing and meeting deadlines. Both communication and keeping track of numbers are key attributes for this.

I've also have great experience in digital marketing and communication, specially on websites, blogs and social media. Over 10 years I've worked in this field, first as an executioner –social media strategy, content creation and management; inbound marketing (blog and newsletter); website planing and management; SEO...–, and in the last years as an external consultant. I've also have a keen eye for photography.

Last, but not least, when I was younger I used to work as a waitress on summers. Something I really enjoyed, specially because of the contact with people and animate ambiance.

Besides professional experience, I speak Spanish, Catalan language, English and a little bit of French, enough to maintain a basic conversation.

I'm also a quick learner and eager to try and master new things, so do not doubt to challenge me. :)
