Hello! My name is Mia and I am pharmacy student living between Bath and Brighton, England. Whenever I have time off university I solo travel to places in Europe. My goal is to gain new experiences, work hard and challenge myself. I would love the opportunity to learn from other people's experiences and cultures. I love hearing peoples stories. I am always open to learning new skills and languages. I am paint oil portraits and always carry a sketchbook on my travels.

I have been trying to teach myself French for the past few year, using books and audiobooks. Last summer I spent 2 months in France and did a French course. This made me get to an intermediate level. However, I've been at university all year and have not been practicing. So I am now a bit rusty! I would love the opportunity to practice my French :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have not done a workaway before, but I do have experience volunteering and working. I volunteered for 6 months in an elderly hospital ward. My duties were cleaning and providing companionship. I loved hearing stories and experiences. I am a hard worker, working at Waitrose, a supermarket here in the UK whilst studying pharmacy at my university. I also worked as a tutor for school aged children for 3 years. I am artistic and creative and love DIY projects! Since I turned 18, I have been solo travelling Europe when ever I have free time, volunteering in hostels.
