Description

I'm a theatre maker and facilitator based in London. I work collaboratively and on socially engaged projects and am active in community engagement. I enjoy facilitating environments where people are free to explore their creativity and get in touch with their imagination. I love working within and building communities, experimenting with what is fun and exciting, and actively engaging with and responding to what is happening in the world around me.

I am passionate about people, building relationships and living in communion with others. I am currently thinking about how I can use my time more intentionally and put my resources into projects and causes that I care about. I am keen to learn more about living sustainably and contribute to community projects.

I love cooking and working on projects that involve using my hands. I am always keen to learn new skills and engage in new forms of creativity. I would love to expand my practical skill set and become more of a holistic maker! I love being outdoors and spending long periods of restorative time in nature.

By the nature of being an artist in this day and age, I also have lots of experience in hospitality. I've worked in many bars and cafes and so am used to long hours, a bit of manual labour and people facing roles.

I would love to learn a language! My only real experience is what I was taught at school and the british school system is famously bad at this. But I would be really keen to break out of the shackles of only speaking my native language.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm really great at anything people related! Talking and offering emotional support, helping out with tasks, organising your life, learning from others, building communities etc etc

I'm a creative person across lots of mediums - theatre and writing, cooking, practical painting (fine art painting not so much...), building and making, fashion and clothing and generally approaching all things with a creative brain that works outside the box!

I'm a very passionate person and throw myself into new things with vigour! I'm a quick learner and particularly so when I'm learning by doing. I'm a practical person who is good with their hands and enjoys mending and making. My best skill is potentially being keen to learn new things, willingness to give anything a go and determination in making something work/figuring it out.

Because of my work in theatre, I've self-produced a lot of shows and events. This means I'm skilled in organisation, large scale long term strategy, budget management, scheduling, liaising with lots of people with lots of different skills and talents, project and people management and marrying a creative vision with a logistical one!

I love reading, going to live performances of lots of different kinds, all things music related, film and fashion. And I really want to get out of London and spend more time in nature - and use that time to be practical and use my hands, to build things and contribute to looking after the land.

I am really keen to feel like I am more connected to the world around me and step outside of my echo chamber. I am always interested in experiencing and learning about cultures that are not my own - and am very interested in how I can live a life that draws from lots of different cultures, attitudes, ethos, belief systems and pedagogies.
