Description

Hey, I'm Marlene. I grew up in a small village in East Germany. My parents have a farm and so I fell in love with nature, animals and the care of all that at an early age. I helped raise animals, took care of them when they were sick. My pride and joy belongs to a blind rooster named Bibo that I raised in 2020 after it was abandoned by its mother. In December 2024 he died unfortunately. He was a handsome little man. You can see him in the second picture.
My mother taught me a lot about gardening, my father showed me the beauty of the forest. My grandfather taught me how to drive a tractor and my grandmother taught me that every living thing is precious. Now I am 23 years old and my life has changed, of course. I live in a bigger city, my flat is too small for an animal and there are regular busses and trains. Nevertheless, I am connected to my past and eternally grateful to my family that I was allowed to grow up like this. Now I would like to gain experience, new techniques on farms, meet new people and ways of perceiving life. Because one day I would like to take over my parents' farm and then pass on my experiences there.

- I grew up on a farm, I know about keeping horses, sheep, chickens, ducks and cats.

- I am not afraid to get my hands dirty.

- I know that the work on the farm is often hard and that it still has to be done for the sake of the animals and plants.

I like to read, I like to cook and I like to learn new dishes. On a free afternoon, I love to go for long walks or explore new areas by bike. I also like to go swimming.
