Description

We are Maik and Marie, travelling with our beloved dog Bounty through Canada. We have worked on an Outfitter an hour away from Montréal the past months! We have our own vehicle and will make our way to Western Canada from July onwards, so we´re now looking to secure our Workaway winter adventure.

About us:
Hey there! I'm Maik, and my world revolves around the good stuff – outdoor activities, cooking delicious meals, spending quality time with my awesome girlfriend and our furry sidekick Bounty. You'll catch me fisihing, working out to keep the vibes high, and just soaking up the active life. In winter, I like having some chilled nights in, watching movies and eating take-out.🌟

Hi, I'm Marie. I love hanging out with our dog, having deep talks with friends or total strangers about anything and everything, and reading thrillers or listening to true crime/business crime podcasts. You'll find me by the water playing volleyball, relaxing or in general exploring new places. Oh, and I'm always up for trying different foods when I'm out and about. Life's pretty simple and good! 🐾📚

Greetings! I'm Maik, a certified paramedic and childhood educator with a versatile professional background. My experiences span across Australia, New Zealand, and Berlin, encompassing roles from kitchen positions (as a chef) to front office and bar responsibilities in hospitality. Outside the professional realm, I've contributed to various facets of farming, including cattle and dairy farms, general maintenance, fencing, and crop farming. I am the perfect allrounder, motivated and outgoing - looking forward to helping you wherever I can!

Hello, I'm Marie – I kicked-off my journey in hospitality, rocking the roles of receptionist and service in hotels and bars for three years while studying and also during my work and travel in Australia. After graduating, I spent 1.5 years in South East Asia, working in sales. Back in Germany, I made the jump to the tech industry as a recruiter. Fast forward to now, and I'm happily navigating the freelance world in recruitment.
On a small sidenote: I´m happy to teach French, German, or English to fellow travelers or hosts. 🌐✨
