Hello my name is Maria, I'm 27 years old and I'm from Portugal .

I am currently a traveler, exploring the Greek islands. It has been about 5 years since I last used this community platform because I had other projects to pursue. Right now, I'm traveling with my van and my two dogs, who are very friendly and gentle. My plan for this season is to travel along the Mediterranean coast, and the next country on my list is Turkey, where I'm looking for a travel buddy to join me for a while.

My main goal for this journey is to explore traditional and ancient cultures, especially those deeply rooted in nature. I intend to visit archaeological sites, traditional markets, local places, and more. I have a extra single bed in my van for a travel buddy. I'll be arriving in Bodrum around the 8th and plan to explore the southern part of Turkey, possibly extending my journey to Iraq.

I'm looking for a travel buddy who shares my interests and is willing to share expenses. During the trip, I've also thought about stopping and participating in some volunteer projects on farms related to permaculture and agroforestry. This aligns with my interests from four years ago when I traveled to Iceland, Australia, Thailand, Switzerland, France, and Cambodia using this platform.

I have an open mind, am dynamic, and have a strong desire to experience life to the fullest. I'm a fun and happy person currently living a nomadic life. I love nature, especially the sea. I enjoy scubadiving, although I only have snorkeling equipment.

I have two dogs, a mother named Hera and her son, Lei. They get along well with people and all types of animals. I've been very strict with their training because, as I live a nomadic life in my van, I had to teach them rules to adapt to various places and respect their surroundings so that we can be free and harmonious, along with others.

I am here to explore and learn more about the world. My main focus is on the exploration of ancient and modern cultures of civilizations along the east and south coasts of the Mediterranean. I'm also continuously learning ways to lead a self-sustaining and peaceful life for the present and future, while respecting the natural environment and the planet. Additionally, I'm interested in contributing to various projects that align with these principles.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My skills predominantly lie in being highly dynamic and adaptable. Just about a year ago, I had never ventured into construction. However, since acquiring my van, I've undertaken its construction twice. This involved everything from working with wood to installing electrical and plumbing systems, and even delving into mechanical repairs. It's truly remarkable how, with a touch of instinct and a dose of motivation, we can accomplish so much these days. I attribute a portion of my success to the wealth of knowledge and inspiration shared through the vast expanse of the internet.

I've been self-reliant since I turned 18 and currently travel with two dogs, whom I care for as if they were my own children. I take immense pride in my resilience, and I'm grateful for the countless individuals who have crossed my path, sharing their wisdom and contributing to my personal growth
