Hello! ☀️
I’m Mariam, and I’m passionate about teaching, traveling, and learning from the world around me. I’m a curious person who loves discovering new cultures, meeting people from different backgrounds, and experiencing ways of life different from my own. I believe every culture has something unique to teach us, and I’m always excited to step outside my comfort zone and embrace new experiences. These values have also shaped the way I relate to the people around me and contributed to the person I am today.
I have three sisters, and being one of the eldest has played an important role in shaping my character. Growing up in this role taught me to be responsible, decisive, and supportive, as I often became a point of reference for my younger sisters. This experience strengthened my ability to care for others and helped me develop patience, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility — qualities that I also bring into my passion for teaching and connecting with people.
My interest in languages and cultures started early in life. Since I was a child, I have always watched Argentine TV series, which helped me learn Spanish and fall in love with the language and Argentine culture. Over time, this passion only grew stronger, and my biggest dream is to visit Argentina and fully immerse myself Buenos Aires.

I know many languages partly because I think I have a natural aptitude for them, and partly because of various coincidences. Being born in the Aosta Valley, a region in northern Italy where studying French is mandatory, I ended up studying it for 18 years. Then I chose a language-focused high school, where I was introduced to German. When I started watching Cris Morena TV series, I learned Spanish, and from that point on I never stopped having it around me. I continued to listen to it daily through TV programs and podcasts, so it has remained constantly present in my ears ever since.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Since I was a child, I have worked in the restaurant and tourism industry to support my studies. These experiences taught me how to be independent and how to interact effectively with people. I graduated in Italian Literature, and thanks to this, I became a teacher — a profession I am deeply passionate about. Teaching has taught me to be empathetic and, above all, patient. One of my greatest passions is languages; in fact, I speak six of them. I believe they are a wonderful tool for communicating with people.
