Description

I am a recent college graduate with plenty of English teaching experience and a love for music, books, and travel! I spent Spring 2025 teaching English in Costa Rica before coming back to the US and driving across the USA and back — all activities that brought me immense joy. I am excited to continue gaining international experience and meeting new people!

I have a Bachelors degree in English and plenty of teaching experience. I have my TEFL/TESOL certification as well as Substitute Teaching experience in Chicago, Math/English/TEFL teaching experience in Costa Rica, and over 280 hours of ESL tutoring experience on Preply. I have a passion for language, learning, and community. I also love going on walks, learning to cook new recipes, reading books, and yoga!

Margaux joined us in Costa Rica for three months in 2025. She taught Math, English Language Arts and ESL. She is a disciplined, thoughtful and simple exceptional teacher. She added so much to my project and to the lives of my students who adored her.
