Hello! My name is Marcos, and I am a 29-year-old Spaniard living and working as an architect in Paris since 2020.

Tired of the emptiness of routine working a 9-to-5 in a huge city, I decided to take a step back and quit my job to try to reconnect with myself and my environment. I joined Workaway to expand my horizons by traveling, meeting new people, and contributing meaningfully to the communities I encounter.

I consider myself a creative person with a serious and responsible approach to work. My background as an architect has equipped me with construction and spatial knowledge and a mindset that encourages thinking outside the box to find the best solutions to any given problem. I love art and crafts, manual work and learning and sharing knowledge with others. I am also a huge lover of plants and animals. I enjoy learning and teaching new languages; I am currently fluent in Spanish, French, and English, and I’m starting to learn German.

I look forward to the opportunity to contribute and grow with others!
