Actuellement, nous sommes

Description

We're two organic small scale vegetable farmers and are looking to explore and have some cultural experiences during our off season.

We're open to anywhere in Central/ South America and Europe. We're based in Canada but just about to move to the UK, so an opportunity in the UK is also welcome as we're going to have to find our footing and we don't know where to start.

We have done several workaways before and have loved the opportunity to be immersed in a new cultural and gain familiarity with an area we wouldn't have found had we just been tourists passing through.

We are hard working individuals looking towards a future having our own organic farm and hopefully adjoining community space/ bakery. Right now we are looking for opportunities that allow us to see how other farmers are doing things and gain self- sustaining skills such as baking, fermenting, preserving. Marissa also greatly enjoys and would love to learn more about nature-based crafts such as pottery(!!), natural dyeing, weaving, also natural building.

We love to spend our days outside and are keen to take on any task given to us. Both of us have worked in the guiding industry (dogsled guide, snowshoe guide, zipline guide, hiking guide) so we are very social, active, and absorb knowledge.
