Hello! My name is Maggie and I am a recent graduate who has spent the later half of 2024 traveling with my childhood best friend. My travels through Brazil, Spain, and my solo travel through Budapest has deepened my appreciation for diverse cultures, and I thrive in roles that involve teaching, creativity, and fostering meaningful connections.

As a creative writer and former sports editor for my university publication, I have a knack for storytelling and communication, which I also bring to my roles in education and volunteering. Whether I’m organizing activities, teaching English, or learning from those around me, I’m eager to contribute, grow, and share experiences in every opportunity.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

With a majority of my experience in youth and community development, I have a passion for creating engaging and inclusive environments.

I’ve worked as a literacy specialist, supporting students with reading development, and as an art assistant, encouraging creativity through hands-on projects. I have also refined my leadership and interpersonal skills through roles such as a hotline volunteer for the San Francisco suicide prevention task force and as a community group leader for my university’s ministry.

It was through these positions where I facilitated meaningful conversations and provided emotional support. I am passionate about fostering growth and connection in multicultural settings.

I grew up playing a lot of sports so I love to move around any chance I can whether that be through biking, skiing, basketball, yoga, etc. I also love learning about religion and would love to explore my spirituality more throughout my travels.
