Description

I am a qualified primary school and English language teacher from Ireland looking to connect with the culture and people of the countries I visit!
I'm a very friendly and outgoing person who loves working with, helping, and learning from people and who finds great satisfaction in making people laugh and smile.
I love animals (especially dogs), good food, reading and practicing yoga; and having lived in 5 different countries travelling is a big part of who I am.
I speak English, Spanish and French and while I am travelling in South America I am looking for opportunities to volunteer so that I can better get to know the customs and culture of where I am, make connections, practice Spanish and feel part of a community.

I studied French ans Spanish at university, and am near fluent in both. I speak English at native level and am qualified to teach it as an additional language (I hold a CELTA degree) and have over 5 years' experience teaching English.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

With a background in language studies, I am qualified fo teach English as an additional language. I find language fascinating and, having once been fluent in Spanish, would like to get back there! I have experience teaching English to children, teenagers and adults from all over the world.
As well as experience in teaching and leading a team, I also have experience in customer service - having worked in both a tourist office and a concert venue.
I have extensive child care experience, as well as experience teaching children of various ages, which means I am responsible, empathetic, patient and creative.
My volunteering experience includes working at an animal rescue centre, helping out at a community kitchen during the pandemic, and working with children of migrant backgrounds to help them learn English.
