Hello!

My name is Maciej, a 25 year old from Poland. However, I was raised in England since the age of 12.

I am now looking for workaways to start around April time.

I attended university in England for 2 years on a psychology course, but I quickly dropped out as I wasn't really enjoying the course or the university I was in. I would like to someday go back and study language or literature; For the time being, I just want to travel around and explore a little bit of the world, and meet people and learn about different cultures.

I have worked in the hospitality sector in the UK since I was 15 and that is where most of my strengths lie; I've worked in various areas from waiter and barman, breakfast chef, host and receptionist, through supervisor and manager to general manager.

I am a very happy, social and outgoing individual.
I love to do things spontaneously.
Trying new things, foods and seeing new places is always exciting.

I love hiking, going on walks and visiting various beauty spots.
I like to stay active, whether it be playing rugby, swimming, walking, cycling or going to the gym.
I try to get out and about as much as I can in my free time, never waste a day.

I want to travel and see a little bit of every country, the big cities and the less known hidden gems.
I just want to go around, experiencing all the different cultures, meeting interesting people and making memories.

My main strengths lie in hospitality and customer service.

I have 10 years of bar and restaurant experience as staff, supervisor and manager.

I have also worked in hotels where I have worked as housekeeping, receptionist, breakfast chef and night shift.

I am quite physically fit so I can do most kinds of physical work.

I learn very quickly and adapt easily to new environments so any kind of work is good for me.

I love reading books, mostly fantasy and sci-fi but I like pretty much anything. I absolutely love trying new foods, and there's nothing I don't like so that makes it a lot easier. I love exercise and hiking. I enjoy swimming and recently picked up paddle boarding but, I would like to learn to surf at some point too. I am always excited to learn about other people's hobbies and interests, as well as learning about culture and history of various countries.
